Care & Maintenance

Maintenance varies by product type. Fabric blinds and curtains can generally be spot cleaned or dry cleaned. Hard blinds such as venetians and plantation shutters can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Refer to care instructions supplied with your order.

Things to Consider

Colour variations may occur between material production batches. These variances are within industry tolerances.
When windows are open, window furnishings should be in the open position to avoid damage.
To fit shutters within a window reveal, we require 70mm internal clearance. The shutter blades will still protrude into the room when in the open position.
When measuring, please consider if flyscreen’s will be added to the window in the future. Once a shutter has been installed, flyscreen’s may be difficult to remove/adjust.
Sliding & Hinged Doors: Capture will not install shutters to sliding or hinged doors.
