Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove grit and abrasive particles. We recommend a lightly damp or well-wrung-out mop for larger spills — do not allow water to pool. Use only manufacturer-approved timber floor cleaners; avoid steam mops, harsh chemicals and excessive moisture. Protect legs of furniture with felt pads and use door mats at entry points.

GrandOak Herringbone is an engineered timber floor with 3mm wear layer. The wear layer is the real wood surface you walk on — it determines how many times the floor can be sanded and refinished. Though this is only applicable to direct stick installations. We do not recommend re-sanding floated floors.
